I am having problems taking a nut off the cam chain gear(inside the side of the case with the clutch) because i have no idea how i am sapost to properly take it off the nut.

Do you mean the 10mm nut on the cam gear?? Or inside the case?

Your probably talking about the staked nut. It will have a small tab bent over a slot in the threaded shaft. You take a small flat tip screw driver and tap it outward. If you cant get the nut unstaked you can just hit it with an impact gun and it will force the stake open. But if you do this way i suggest getting a new nut because alot of times it ruins the stake tab area. My .02
