Hi everyone, I recently bought an 86 trx200sx. The starter was bad but the pull start worked and it had plenty of compression when pulled. I took the cam tensioner out to remove the starter. Repaired the starter and reinstalled it. Bumped the motor over a couple of times to check the starter, and no compression. Assumed it jumped time, so took off the valve cover to find the timing was fine. I ended up taking the top end off, and the cylinder, piston, and rings look great! Took the clutch cover off to find the oil pump broken. Replaced the oil pump, inspected everything, put back together and still no compression. I’m lost. Even with the valve cover off and valves closed no compression. Any help woul be greatly appreciated.
