hello, im very new to this site, and am not sure about how to post a new thread for myself, so i guess ill ask you this question hoping you might know how?? i have a 1988 Honda TRX200SX. i need to adjust the chain, but am now sure how? how do i do this??

on my 91 250x I loosen the two bolts on the rear of the swingarm and you just rotate the carrier assembly with a spanner wrench or giant channelocks you want slack when your not sitting on it and somewhat tight when you sit on it. its best to have someone turn the carrier while you sit on it. i'd say about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of slack while sitting on it should be fine. Just so it's not so slack you throw a chain while riding and not so tight it binds.
