OK, Christmas present for my son - works great but this thing is choked!! I mean how lean can you make something and warranty it??? It idles- but is cold natured as hell, and has a big hesitation from idle to 'bout 1/2 throttle..

stock pilot #40
stock main jet #82

750ft altitude, all stock for except uni airfilter - i frankly dont care if thelid is on or off...lets say it stays on...


needle only has one clip position so I will use one spacer from a mikuni kit I have
going to 42# pilot
going to #88 main jet
going with the needle shim

sound like a plan or am I doing something stupid? Would appreciate any help!!:shocked:
