I've read about cutting a pink wire on a TRX 90 to disengage a limiter? Where exactly is this pink wire, and does it work? would like to increase speed without any big mods. Have already taken the cap off the air filter. any others?

The pink wire is coming out of the CDI Box. You already removed the airbox lid, install a UNI filter, and get a Big Gun Full system racing exhaust(best pipe for the TRX90). A stock bore size 11-1 piston and a powroll cam, some port and polish work with a 20mm carb and you will be able to hang with ANY race ready 90cc quad.

You still need the suspension to put the power to the ground. Let me know if you need more help spending your money! LOL

I believe it is under the hood. You can cut the wire and make sure you tape off and grease both ends so nothing gets shorted...

I have the big gun exhaust...jetted...air box has been removed and a uni is in place...im looking for the elusive pink wire, and i've read you can disconnest it so it doesnt need to be cut...does anyone have pictures of where the little booger is???

I have a 94 trx 90 with a tbolt 114 big bore kit. 26mm carb and a uni filter. And it's fast as all hell for a 90. But it does limit out on the top speed. The pink wire is clamped in by the stator. I'd just unhook that and tape it. And don't cut anything case you wanna hook it back up. And that way u won't get a short bc there's no power to the pink wire if u unhook it by the stator. Remove the 3 8 mm bolts by pull starter. Pull off and to the right of the stator you'll see two wires with washers spring loaded. Take off the pink one and tape it and tuck it away from the stator. Presto
