hey guys i was just wondering if i could get some help here.. i bought at new motor for my 07 trx 450er and the motor i bought is out of a 04 or 05 kick start modle.. i am wondering if it wouuld bolt in the o7 frame properly with the same motor mounts,, also woould the wiring harness be the same?? thanks please respond

I'm not sure about the mounts, I think on the 06+ they repositioned the motor a little bit since there was no longer a external oil cooler. I'm almost positive that the harness won't work, I know they have different ignition curves so the CDI boxes would not match up....

Agree^^^^ the harness would have a bit more to them on the ER models (eg. Starter, solenoid, battery, ect) You may have less of an ignition curve with the Kicker CDI too?? I'm not positive on that though?

Should bolt up but I'd really research the wiring harness.
