Hey,

Had to replace rear axle on my 91 TRX 300. Shaft I found was later model. Therefore hubs are not long enough. Does anybody sell just the spacers? I can only find them sold with new hubs. My hubs are still good.

Thanks for any assistance.

there are no spacers I know about , I think it went something like this , axle and hubs from 88-91 or 92 was the short spline hubs , and later models had longer splined hubs , no separate spacers come from the factory , may have been added later by P.O.

Surely you’d just take a measurement and cut a piece of heavy gauge tube to do the job? I certainly wouldn’t be paying $50 for something I didn’t need.

I stripped quite a few hubs on the old style short hubs , that is the reason why they went to longer hubs cause they strip out , I would have to guess that hub and spacer is Chinese made junk , made out of old washing machines and BBQ pits , the cheapest steel they can possibly get with no heat treatment , Partzilla shows them to still be available for like $28 , before I would pay $48 for the china junk , I would buy the OEM short hub and cut a piece of pipe for a space , but I wouldn't do that , I would get a new or used axle and hubs , if you are close to New Orleans , La , it is right at $300 for a axle and 2 hubs from Partzilla , I will sell you a good axle and a couple of hubs for say $100
