Speedometer and odometer on my old 1986 TRX250 worked when I first got it but haven't for a long time. Anyone on here have an idea where to start to repair it?

So does the control screen show anything at all? Or just blank

Check the inner speedo cable at both ends. One of the drive ends might have twisted off due to the cable seizing up from lack of clean lube.

Yep ^^^^^Which type do you have ? Can you Post some pics of the meter head , gear drive and cable ends , the problem is probably the ether one of these ends worn off .
