any aftermarket front plastic (300ex on it now) hood peice with a air inlet sold by anyone ? I'd like to get air passing thru there to help cool the oil cooler for the 350x engine, also I think it would look better . are there only 2 or 3 company's making the aftermarket plastic ?

Welcome to the forums. Try www.maier-mfg.com they may have a scoop that you can mold in or a nose you can purchase. but i would look into the aluminum side scoops for the 400ex you may can retro them to work for your application.

Some racers use a 250r hood overtop of the 300ex hood. You could try to use it without the 300ex hood under it and have air flow.

thanks for the responses and welcome, I'll look into the 250r hood on top of mine, I looked at fullbore plastic, but I think if I buy new plastic I might go for the mair plastic, the 300ex newer look plastic, looks more racey I think, that way I could go back and forth between bodies for a diff. look. I'm also waiting for another 350x engine I sent to Brenny's in Iowa, I have a 350x trike thats waiting for that engine, all painted up with new plastic, ect. that ones been gone thru also, can't wait for that engine, bored, piston, ect. It should be a good runner.

All the 250x parts are interchangeable between the two.
