Ya, the price adds up quickly. Especially if you want the mount - that thing is 100 bucks itself (the computer is only 130, lol). They actually give you speed and water temp. As far as I know, it should also include the tach, which from what I've read sounds like a wire that wraps around your spark plug or something. I'm pretty sure it comes with the ambient temp sensor, too, as I can't seem to find it as a stand-alone product.

edit: I could be mistaken - the actual tach wire may be separate. I will have to email them and find out exactly what you need to make it functional, they don't make it very clear on their site.

I got an email back from TrailTech. If you buy the dashboard kit (the install kit), it comes with a stem cover and an optional logo plate if you want (I guess it just says TRX, probably in red and black, you can see some of the other logos for other brands and models).

The computer itself comes with enough wires to enable speed, temp, tach and the wire to power it. Comes with basic mounting hardware and the ambient temp is inside the unit itself.

I think I'm gonna order one.

I probably won't get it for a few weeks, as I'm not going up this weekend, and I want to order a couple other things first. I just ordered some boots, and if I can get the AC Racing bumper powered coated black, I'm gonna order that with a matching grab bar next.

Nice, you should look into Blingstar's products. Top of the line and very cool looking.

Well I finally ordered it this week and got it today. They actually sent me the wrong plastic stem cap, so I emailed them and they shipped me a new one out this same day, no charge. I will still be able to install it this weekend though.

The handlebar clasp itself is very solid, I can definitely justify the price now. The TRX Logo on the clasp is a nice touch, too. The logo on the stem cap is just a sticker, nothing special.

The computer itself is what you would expect. I ordered the stealth one (black), the only difference is the silver one says "Vapor" in black letters on the top. It was a little tricky navigating it right off the bat, and I didn't really understand what the different modes were doing, so you'll have to read the book to figure it out and get it setup for your machine.

My only complaint is that the back light on the LCD seems very cheaply done. It's the type where they put a couple LEDS on one side and shine it across. That leaves the right side slightly darker. I am worried it may not be very visible in the sunlight, but only time will tell.

Well I didn't know what size my stock handlebar was, so I figured since the 1 1/8" bar was the only assembly available for my machine, that must be it.

Wrong.

It must be 7/8", but I don't see that on their site. I emailed them, I should hear back tomorrow. Hopefully they make it, because I'm not about to deal with the hassle of upsizing my bar.

Fat bars are so much better than stock, they have anti-vibration factors in them and they look cool too.

The ends are the same width. The only part that is thicker is the center where it clams to the stem.

All of your controls will fit. Are you saying there is like a welded tab or something for your choke?
