Hi all, I overheated my 250 recon while spraying irrigating ditch. Replacing head gasket and rings now. Head gasket looks blown, everything else looks good.

As I disassembled, I pulled a cam follower cup on the intake side of pushrod bore..?? Should there be one on the exhaust side too? or does exhaust pushrod ride directly on cam...that seems not good....?

Also should I apply light skiff of hondabond or something to the new gaskets? The green fiber one was a chore to clean off.

Thanks for any help here...I need this little workhorse back up and running
