I’m looking to replace the rotted stock Dunlop 25x12.00-9 rear tires.
I found some Deestone 25/12R-9 Swamp Witches for $67 each. What’s the difference between the two tire size descriptions?

I would say the R designates Radial -------- 25 is the O.D , 12 is the width and 9 is the rim size

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing. I don’t believe that a radial tire will affect the handling on my 1987 Honda 250 fourtrax. Would this be correct?

I have never ran radials before , I know a lot of people only run radials , I don't think you will have any problems , maybe just a little bit stiffer ride

yep , I looked on e-bay to see what the pattern looked like and $73 was the cheapest price I seen on the size mentioned , but none of the one I seen had a R in the description , aybe they are all R's , the ones I seen are 6 ply tires
