I just bought a 2005 rancher 4x4 and someone put 12" rims on the back from what i see it came with 24x9x11 on the back and 25x8x12 on the front. Will it cause any issuse going 25x10x12 on the rear and 25x8x12 on the front since it had 24s on the rear from factory.thanks

It will be perfectly fine to fit tyres of the size you mention, from factory they are fitted with the sizes you state for handling reasons however, many will agree that no difference is noticeable whatsoever when you go up a size or two.
There are quite a few folk on here who have ranchers with 25’s all round, I’m sure they will chime in soon enough and give you more info.

No not at all, your fine to fit the sizes you mention. The rims will have been changed to 12” for ease of tyre purchase and for a better tyre option range. Not many options or sizes are available in 11”.

Don’t forget to post back with your new tyres of choice, and of course a few pics of the new rubber :)

Yep, put 25x8 front, 25x10 rear, keep the 12" wheels. Most people look for 12" wheels to replace the 11's because the available tire selection is 1000x's better for 12" wheels.

You can swap in a selectable front diff fairly cheap if you're handy. Check out Retro's Creamsickle build thread for details. Front disc brakes from a 420 are another upgrade I would suggest.
