Is it normal to have some play in tie rod ends after only a couple months of use?
They are aftermarket all balls

it's normal to have play in them..but..not very much..and surely not after a couple months of use. i would contact who ever you got them from..and maybe they will replace them under warranty ??..who knows. this is why on anything i rebuild..if it's vital..it gets oem stock parts...somethings you can splurge on..others...well..thats your call.

??? Most of the time aftermarket is better quality and less expensive.

The inners seem to have no play but the outters have some play when you pull the tie rod up and down and depending how the steering is positioned and if you turn the handle bars left to right slightly there is slight movement very slight. I just don't want them to pop off. I don't think they will so I guess that's why i;m asking. I am fine with it as long as it's normal???????
