your right moose, the ones that are stripped are the 2 bolts that go through the rocker arm pins on the left side and they have the washers on them. the other bolt is on the left front corner. i will look at the epoxy stuff that ostrx mentioned but id say the helicoils would be stronger. thanks for the help!
thread repair
my 300ex has an oil leak between the cam cover and the head and when i checked it out i found 3 bolts that hold the cam cover on were stripped out.:icon_cussing: could i use a helicoil kit to fix them or should i just replace the head? thanks in advance.

thanks for the suggestions guys. i will get a helicoil kit ordered this week and see what i can do.
