I there! I am just checking in after posting a Help thread. I've been reading thread-after-thread-after-thread and wanted to share my observations: The folks on here play nice in the sandbox! Seems like a good bunch of folks. Thanks for helping us less talented diagnosticians!.....

Oh!...and to the title of my post....a few days ago, I was content with my "milk crate mod" and home-made atv trailer (the type I pull with the atv)....but now I have a half dozen projects swarming around my head; the last thing I need is another project!.....the more pics I see, the more I think, " my wheels don't look nearly as good as those" and "how come my atv doesn't have all those cool skid plates and stick guards!?"

Owning ATV's is an illness... There's always something to add, something not quite right or something in need of a modification!

Your wallet will certainly be a little lighter now you've got the 'bug'!

Welcome to the forums :)

LOL it's a great group--an invaluable resource
--guys n gals from all walks of life some use their quads to work every day and some don't have one yet.
Most importantly the veteran members encourage self-reliance which can translate to cost savings but also realize not everyone has the time tools experience or funds to take on certain projects. Outstanding community, not a lot of sailor talk and only the rare spear thrown about!

Thanks for all the replies folks. So frequently, I see the opposite of respect on forums. It is really refreshing.

I wouldn't want you to not feel at home would a little spear chucking help ! LOL

so is a Chukar like what we in the south would call a quail ?
I'll pass on the spear throwing!....

a chukar is a game bird that lives in the high desert. They are bigger than a quail and are from places like pakistan (I think)...they were brought to the US for hunting way back when.....they have taken up residency in very steep rugged rocky terrain where not much else lives....they are hard to hunt. There is a chukar hunting saying that goes, the first time is for fun, after that it's for revenge!
