Met up with my buddy Friday to get the wheels he picked up for me a couple weeks ago. For the condition and price i paid i could be happier. Other than them needing some polishing, there near flawless!!

I placed a order Friday for a couple new polishing wheels and more polish but i couldnt wait to any longer and started polishing them with the stuff i already had. They are coming along great!!

This was how i recieved them.

This was after a little bit of polishing.

It was mentioned on my other thread that i shouldnt sand them but i had to, well one so far and not the entire thing i just wanted to see how it would turn out. There was a couple spots that the polish just wasnt cutting through which is why i sanded it. I used 2000grit and wet sanded it. Today im going pick up some 1500, 2000 & 3000 to do all of them because as you can see it really helps bring the shine out.

The wheel i sanded then polished is the top right wheel.

None of the wheels are even close to being finished, just had to see how they would look with a quick polish.

Wasnt expecting it but the wheels came in there original boxes and included the lug nuts too!!

:bling:

Nice score !!!! they are going to shine up really well -------- They are not going to look good on your bike , I'll help you out to recover your money , sell them to me ! LOL

I am really surprised ITP dropped the rim from it's line , it is the best looking rim to me ---------- I am very curious to see the look on the bike with the rear offset

Hahaha

Im suprised too, i think they look great as well. I not sure the weight of a ITP/SS wheel now adays but i thought there were pretty light.

Currious as to What brand paste polish you used. Looking good so far!
I used Blue Magic for the first pass and then made a pass with Mothers Billet Polish. Someone mentioned the SIMICHROME Polish in my other thread so i ordered some, should be in today.

Nice find! A little elbow grease does wonders.... What tires are you planning on install?
Anybody that knows me could tell you that i am not afraid of work and when the results are so impressive it makes the effort that much better. I plan to run 25" Maxxis Zillas

Nice looking wheels, whenever I wet sand a small spot on one of cars after a touch up.instead of water I use a detailer like Final Inspection. It works well for me.
Final Inspection is the name of the detail spray? Is it similar to Optimum No Rinse?

I did.... Lol, let me know how it does.

Blue magic ? Thx! I used both mothers billet, and simichrome, I'd say....simichrome is a bit more of an aggressive polish. have you ever tried WENOL polish, they clame it will polish stainless steel aluminum, ect ect---- I have yet to find any polish that will good, simichrome will..... But Just a bit, it works fantastic on billet aluminum!
