2006 honda rancher 350 4x4. Need to kno where to start on fixing this problem. It went through some thick nazty mud an got over heated. Now it smokes a little and has a ticking slash knocking noise. Any help where to start.this wil be my first time taking it apart.. Thanks in advance

Going to have to tear down top end if it's smoking. Likely where your noise is coming from too.
