This is a good place to voice your opinion. The survey from Clarity for Honda just shows that they are considering lots of options, but listening to what we really want. There is no telling what they will actually do, but now is the time to hear some real opinions.

Seems that a computer on-board is likely part of the equation. "Follow me" mode would be great! I could put 200 stakes in the quad trailer, survey along, and just whistle and the darn thing would come to me. I wouldn't have to walk backwards anymore. Or I could shoot that Mastodon and just whistle and the quad and trailer would just show up.
Okay, no joking , a detachable head lamp @Mac (what i ment was they should have be standard on all utility atvs and an option for sport models) lol

on the new model detachable head light , n MAYBE the data log system....... Heated grips and seat YES

I don't know about that follow me. Mode ? I just don't like it.......as some of us have been flattened (by accident) what happens when all those electronic tracking parts get all slop covered ? Not to mention cost of repair.......

Range tracker? Maybe.... I would think it would be no good for those of us who ride the same ol trails....JMHO

I had a pretty good laugh at the follow me thing. I mean without sime kind of RTK your looking at 3m accuracy at best, which means if it follows you any closer than that you'r probably going to end up getting run over. Not to mention it wouldn't work anywhere except maybe an open field or parking lot since A) trees obstruct the satellite signal and B) ATV's can't run over big trees or lakes, or things like that lol.

And....a reduction in price, MIGHT make the machine more attractive (when it comes out)......i find it hard to believe someone paying 45,000 for a fourwheeler.

I would think IF you really wanted it to COME to you , as you move, adding a hand held remote control that maybe fits into dash and can be removed would be a better idea than an ATV that just COMES towards you, 3 meters accurate, and it can drive off a cliff on you or into a lake or river or??

I still wouldn;t want that option, but can see some MIGHT?
but, more crap to just loose to break is my main view!

Detachable Handlebar Headlight
Handlebar mounted headlight is detachable and can be used like a flashlight.

Wait wasn't that on my 1985 250 ? I think so !
Because one of my motorcycle friends fell over when he saw me use it.
Yup, 1985 250's have them, so did the 350D's here in the UK, a brilliant option, there not a bad light imo.

Absolutely. Honda should bring that back. Or, they should have never stopped including it.

This list is not for me. I'll keep my carburetored, few electronics, manual transmission, atv. Years ago, a dealership mechanic told me to keep my 300, and called the new stuff "dry-terrain vehicles".
I like innovations, but I like simplicity, better. If I can get my hands on a 350D, I'll revert, not move forward to new-fangled and overly expensive.

Mac brings up a great point about the follow me mode verses terrain.....thoughts ?

Mrbb has a best idea for the follow me mode remote controlled ! IF the follow me mode is a standard option, if not i wouldn't have it

My honest thoughts? I don't like it, but you tell the bike where to go, and not the GPS, trans on you, i take it that's how the quad would follow ??

I guess the next thing will be self driving ATV's that go out ride the trails come back and tell you how fun it was.
HAHA< and they just video the whole thing, and you watch it on your smart phone or other like device, and , automatically sends copy's of it to the world , so they all can see your great riding skills LOL

Don't laugh, I seen a TV show where they had tens of thousands of people watching others play video games?? as if it was a sporting event or??
what happened to the world, of DOING things, yourself??
kids too lazy now to even PLAY video games, they just watch others do it?? LOL
