New member here, found the site today and it helped solve a problem with my sons 1988 Fourtrax 300. It was not getting any spark at all from the key or kicking it. Upon reading the forum found out about the CDI and swap it with mine and mine would not start with his but his would start.

Thanks a bunch to all the folks for that posted about the no spark and the CDI.

I don't really have any suggestions as to how the aftermarket CDIs perform as I usually use the stock CDIs, but Ebay has some cheaper than $147.
