I have a 2005 Rancher 350 ES. When you stab the accelerator or even when you ride it won't idle down quickly. It gradually returns to idle. Also, if you are idling waiting on your buddy to come through some mud it will idle UP without even touching the throttle !! Control cable is free and lubed. Butterfly inside is free. Help !!

agree ^^^^^ ..sounds like you got a air leak somewhere..more than likely your intake boot..any fine crack in it will make it idle bad...oh..might wanna check your choke < if it has the cable kind >..sorry..don't know much about these newer bikes with the new choke system.
