I am thinking about buying Swamp Lite tires for my 08 Rancher 420 4X4. Does anybody has any experience with them, either good or bad? what do you all think about them? They sure look good and seem like to have excellent traction, but I want to hear from the ones who acutally had them on their ATV.

Thanks in advance for your help.

How does Swamp Lite tires compare with Mud Lite tires. Seems like Mud lite is the most popular ATV tires, but I like the look of Swamp lite better and wonder if they are as good as Mud Lites?
The Arctic Cat that I use to own had 26" Mudlites on it and the Honda Rancher that I have now has a set of 26" Swamplites. I find the Swamplites are smoother on rough surfaces and have a better directional stability. Also because the Mudlites have such a large space between the lugs they are more prone to punctures. I know this because I own a auto and tire repair facility and I have done a few Mudlite tire repairs.

Yeah, that makes sense.

I am running 26" mudlite on my 420 and like them, find them fine on hard pack and great in mud. My wife has 25" swamp lites and are just as good. I bought different set for each as these two tire were recommended for riding around here. Both are good tire.

I run Mudlites and like them just fine. I haven't had any experience with the Swamplites.

sorry don't know much about swamp lites. I did have a co worker with them he hated them but don't know why. I have had lots of time with mudlites they are great. hold up real well. but I run zillas they take me places that the mudlites could not.
