I'll submit the wife's 420.

Started off as a completely trashed 2009 420AT. I bought it cheap. It ran but smoked and knocked (sunk), had been spray painted white, no wheels, tires or front bumper. Had 4500 miles showing on the odometer. Wife wanted an automatic so I picked it up for her.

I went through the motor, putting in a new crank, a new OEM Foreman 500 top end, new timing chain, and new seals throughout. I also added secondary gears for a footshift 420, which gave it around an 18% reduction. The GR required a shift module from Rapid Revolutions to keep it shifting properly in auto mode. I also added a Wiseco fuel programmer to bump up the fuel a little for the added CC's of the Foreman top end.

Added a Warn winch with synthetic cable, 26" skinny/wide Mudbugs on factory Rincon wheels, Symtec dual zone heated grips, a Hondaline front bumper, LED lightbar (wired to high beams), and modded in an 05-14 Foreman pod light with HID bulb and added an accessory/ cig lighter plug where the D1/D2/ESP knob normally goes on a Rubicon.

It will pop a wheelie from a dead stop, and most importantly, the wife likes it.

2005 Rancher 400FA AT

Bought a used 2005 400 FA AT with 1250 miles a couple of years back. This is the first ATV I've owned, so have had quite of few things to learn.

Re-built the clutch, replaced drum, weights, springs and one-way bearing.
did some preventive maintenance suggested by retro, fish and countless others, including injecting the ball joints and tie-rod ends with synthetic grease, cleaned all the connectors and filled with dielectric grease.
cleaned polished and waxed the plastics to a near-new condition.
straightened and re-painted front rack.
fabricated a hitch.
installed a used 48" KFI plow.
installed a winch with a synthetic rope after this pic.
weather-proofed the switch housing for the winch control.
replaced the 3 gear position switches to solve an erratic shifting issue.
cleaned up wheels and tires (original??)

worked it hard cleaning up trees, pulling dear out of the timber and pushing snow. Love this machine!!

97 fourtrax 300 (next project) she looks rough, but VERY solid!, all stock, minus fender flairs. 1st AM mod is a 424 kick out.

2001 Honda Rancher ES 350 4x4

Picked this up last June all original and bone stock, was a Craigslist barn find steal of a deal. At the time of pick up it had 91 miles and 19 hours. Had to get the sludge out of the gas tank, carb rebuild kit, and a new battery was all it took to get running. Had been sitting since 2003. Changed all fluids to Bel-Ray synthetics and fresh grease on moving parts. Shines like the day it came off the showroom floor. Added a few goodies to improve an already bulletproof ATV ...(minus the ES part?)
