Hello, I have 2013 Foreman 500 with Electric shift. It is stuck in reverse atm. I’ve replaced the angle sensor, was recommended to do that first. What’s next? I don’t hear the shift motor trying to do anything when pushing the buttons either.
Thanks

use the emergency shifter tool to shift it up to neutral. as for your shift motor not working ?, check your fuses.

Diagnosing ES shift issues are pretty easy using a multimeter once you have read the service manual and have in front of you. There is an entire section devoted to ES troubleshooting in the manual. You can find a copy in the 1st thread at the top of the manuals section.

With that having been said, most times shift issues are caused by a bad connection in a plug. Especially if the bike has been in water/mud... clean every connector pair and put dielectric grease in them before doing anything else. Most times all of the components are fine, so replacing parts turns into a fools game real quick. If you need help with something in there let us know.

I don't have an electric shift atv , but read a lot of threads on it , after you determine it isn't a fuse problem , seems the next step people take would be to remove the shift motor clean and re-grease the shaft , and don't disassemble the motor to grease the shaft like someone else just done
