the left front axle on my 2005 honda rincon is stuck causing the tire to lock up. I have researched how to remove the axle and was wondering if anyone else had had this issue and what the cause is and permanent fix thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Boot torn on the axle. Are you sure it's the CV and not the brakes? Bearing tight?
Easy fix if it's the CV or torn boot is to buy a used OEM axle for $25 from powersportsnation.com.
If it's brakes or bearings that can be fairly easily remedied as well.
I have a set of OEM front disc brakes that will bolt on at the ball joints. If you need bearings or brake work I would go that route rather than dump money into drum brakes/ knuckles
