2001 400 ex, the crankcase oil drain plug is majorly stripped. Used a stripped bolt socket on it and still nothing.
Is there another way to drain oil from crankcase ? Or any ideas on getting this bolt out ? Thanx

When you say stripped. Do you mean the threads are stripped? Or the bolt itself is just rounded off? If its just rounded off you can grab it with a pair of pliers from under the quad. If you dont have a skid plate on it you can remove the small plastic guard under the engine and should be able to get access to it. If that dosnt work get a dremel and put a flat tip on the end of it. If that fails i would drill through the whole thing and use an ez out on it. Just make sure there is oil in it to push the metal shavings out when you get through the bolt. And dont go to big so you have alot of meat to grab and hopefully be able to salvage the threads in the crank case. My .02
