The Rebel Sound Boss is junk , but the tube is ok , retro fitted it with a Pyle system , then made another tube from PVC pipe , the one on the back of the wife's 300 can swop from one bike to another in a couple of minutes with a ratchet strap or turn buckles ----I use the battery tender plug for the power supply , and a water proof box for the MP3 player

K', I have been thinking about building another system , using all 4 channels of the amp , instead of a tube , which is big and bulky , was think of making 4 pod speaker mounts and running a speaker on every corner pointing right at me , it is never loud enough for me as I am hard of hearing from all the rock and roll in my younger days , I'd guess

A couple of people that ride with us have their sound in a water proof box and the speakers mounted right into the box

the best set up I have seen , if you have an extra $600 laying around is the sound bar , forget the name brand but a couple of buddies have them , they are loud and they totally submerge them and they come out the water jamming , one buddy has a $350 version sound tube and it does well also , but I can over power him with my $100 set up

something I don't like is Blue Tooth , find the sound isn't as loud as a cable connection , and don't like to use the phone , so I use a MP3 player and get the music from u-tube free with the MP3 player down load , when you do record music , first pic the best quality of sound level as some songs are better quality

Here is mine. Made it to custom fit on my rancher 350 front rack. I used wood I had left over from other projects. Speakers and amp were laying around. Did buy the boss bluetooth controller and the bedliner to cover it though. Works great, can control it from the handlebars, and also have some extra storage for straps and what not.

I like the woodwork here! How did you make the top rounded piece that connects the top of the speaker to the top of your box? Also, what kind of wood is this, pine?

To be honest I don't know what the wood was. It was a nice pre sanded ply I got for one of the wifes projects.
For the rounded cone things on the top, I cut a chunk of wood roughly to shape, then spent a bunch of time on the belt sander shaping them.

I wanted to keep the box low profile so it didn't look huge. And also didn't block my handlebar led pod. But didn't want to use 4" speakers either. These are 6" infinity reference coaxial speakers. Sound really good and have held up to mud and pressure washing surprisingly. One day they will quit working and I'll buy some better speakers. I can cruise wide open in 5th gear maxed out and still jam pretty good.

I think I may have a line on a box someone else has made, if I buy it I'll post some pics. I was really wanting to go wireless u know without a cd player but this one already has the cut out for one and it's one heck of a deal. I do like seeing some of the stuff u guys come up with they look really good.
