so i was changing my handlebars the other day, and i realized that my steering stem is slightly bent, i couldnt tell with the old bars becasue they were so low, but i got a high bar this time and its very noticable... i dont really have money to spare to buy a new one, even though i'd like to have a houser. But, i was wondering if it would be safe to try and tap it back into place with a hammer? or is there a better way?
I don't know. If I was going to try to straitn it I would take it of the quad so you don't damage anything else. I would not use heat or anything and keep in mind it is not as strong as it once was.
