I have a 2007 250 Honda recon with electronic shift. I can't keep the atv on. i've use the choke on a cold start and does crank over then shuts off. I close the choke it cranks over stays on for a second or two then turn off. I've change the sparks plug, replace the gas with fresh one. fresh battery, clean filter. help anyone!

I sounds like you might have picked up some trash or water in the carb bowl?/ take it off ad clean it out spray some carb and choke cleaner up into the bottom of the carb if you don't remove it. you also might check for a cracked intake boot.\

has this always been a problem? if so it may be as simple as the idle turned down too low,vibration over time will do this,so i've been told.

Def. a fuel issue , vapor lock? if not check for debris in petcock.

it could be the vent tube on the fuel cap,something may be cloging it up.

Try taking the fuel cap off and start it.I am also thinking a blocked tank vent.
