Well , I had a problem with my electric starter, took out what I thought was the starter, disassembled it and after awhile decided I couldn't figure out anything there and tried to put it back together. I couldn't see a way to keep the brushes with the springs pushing on them , to stay in place while I slid it all back together. So , what do I do, I leave the springs out , put it back together and just use the machine until I can get it to the man. Turned out it was the shift motor I was dinking with and of coarse it wasn't working now. So I am outside seeing if I can figure out a way to reinstall the brush springs. So far , I realized I could pull the whole armature out and perhaps put it into place first , with something clamping the brushes in place. More later.:bling:
