New member here. Recently purchased a used 2007 Foreman 500ES no modifications. It only has 825 miles on it so it has done quite a bit of sitting around. As with most sitting engines, I knew there would be carb/fuel issues. I loaded the bike up and brought it home. Choke cable was bad so I replaced it and like an idiot did not clean the carb when I had it halfway off. Learning experience #1! Lol! I took the carb off later and cleaned it. Started the bike up and it would idle fine, but stall out when I pushed the throttle. This time, I drained all the gas and cleaned the carb again. Put new gas in with an ounce of sea foam hoping it would help clean some too. The issue never went away. I took the air filter off, replaced the lid seeing if the filter was too dirty. Issue still there. So I ordered a Honda carb and replaced the old one. I am now stumped beyond control. Haha! New carb still shows the same symptoms as the old one. What else is recommended to try? I’m fairly decent at changing parts, but not the greatest at diagnosing the problems. I thought for sure, this would be somewhat simple, but darn was I wrong!
