Last night I was changing oil in my sons sportrax 90. On the underneath of the machine a few inches away from the oil drain plug there is another plug. There appears to be a spring in there also. What is this?? Thanks

Weird.....lemme see if I can get an answer for ya. I have never heard of that.

Yeaa.....do not mess with that bolt. lol some guys have opened that instead of the oil bolt accidentally and a spring and cam tensioner bolt popped out also. Had some rattling/running problems. I don't know exactly what that bolt is, but I wouldn't mess with it.

yes that is what i did, i put the spring back in and it did ratlle for a while but went away. not sure what to do now?? seems ok but not sure...
