Hey all. Slowly getting this together. I put the engine back together and it seems a lot quieter than it was before. No more rattling sound while running! Hopefully that's the end of repairs for now.
I'm trying to locate the right bolts for the splash guard. Partzilla has them, ebay has them also, but the shipping is a little prohibitive at 9.95 shipping for 3 bolts at 99 cents each.
My local hardware store I've struck out twice with the pitch being off - I'm not sure if you all know what the correct pitch is? The part number from partzilla is HP-95701-08014-07, which lists it as a 8x14 flange bolt. I have the right size, but the pitches that I've tried (1.00 and 1.25) seem to be off.
