I want to remove the speedo on my TRX300. Do I remove the ouput angle thingy? Is there a plug off to replace it. All 300 don't have speedos, so what goes in it's place and where can I buy one? Dealer?

There should be a plug. What are you taking the speedo off for? If you were selling it then maybe the buyer could give you the plug. I pulled one out recently but don’t know where I left it. Let me see if I can find a part number for it and if it’s even available.

I need a directional, powerful light. I really don't need the speedo, and it's in the way of my desired lamp location. I never drive this thing fast, so I'm seeing 20 kph.and I say to self "Oh, I'm doing 20 kph"lol Besides I think it's just an ugly clunky pod spoiling the clean cowl lines.

Yeah that's how I kind of felt about it too. lol I thought about putting it somewhere else but that cable is pretty short. I was actually thinking about putting a 450 Foreman pod on it with the light and mounting the 300 speedo where the digital dash would go on the 450.

Yeah we can't either it's pure novelty seeing how fast your going. I did like the trip meter though.
