They don't play any of that kind of music on am , fm or xm , only place to find it is on u-tube , you learn about new tunes from hearing it on other atv or truck radios , most of the bands travel the mud park events and have concerts on the weekends , it has become a following , most all of it is clean of graphic language

This is one of the closest parks to me , it is a 20 minute drive , there are a couple 15 minutes away , my buddy who lives a mile from me is the manager / ? of the park , they are working at making it bigger and better , this was a last year video , there are trails going off into the woods

Sam , I thought I had a great idea for a moment , you were talking Honeymoon in the USA , rent a cabin at one of the mud parks when you come over , but then I realized I don't know of any atv rentals , that would be a tuff business with damages caused by the riders

Muddin' has really grown into a cult around here , on the weekend you should see the trailers with atv's and utv's running down the highways every where , mud parks are popping up all over , and they are making money , my buddy was telling me that park has over 600 spots for RV's , cabins and primitive camping spots , on average it is $30 a bike to get in per day and $10 a person

I need to make an post a video

my buddy got a new sound tube for his Can-Am 570 , I like it , I think I got him beat on volume , he says it is 450 watts , it has lights in it that bounced with the music , but he opened it up and disconnected the ones that pointed at him , as it was right in his face , it looks really cool at night ---- he did a nice job making the brackets to mount it over the radiator

Wow, just caught up with this thread! I'll be going back to LA for a long visit someday fish... I appreciate the invite, I'd love to meet you!

I like your sound tube more though... you made it yourself from parts. I see extra value in stuff done like that.

Well thanks Retro , the offer still stands , if you ever get down this way , stop by and gets some Southern Cuisine , I'll cook something special like Possum Stew , LOL

I didn't mention , the front of the tube has led's that you can change colors and it lights up the trails , there is also a mount bar on top the tube that a LED light bar can be mounted to and the plug for power to the light is built into the tube and it all works off a pemote , suppose to be water proof , we shall see, the speakers on the sides also light up different colors , he paid $350 for it , I got $90 into mine

Storage is a must , never enough and dry storage at that --

a cool idea I came up with , this time the year I carry a Gor-Tec rain suit , I been stuck out in the woods and the temp dropped and started raining , I was shivering when I got home , so I put it in a 2 gallon zip-Lock bag and put it in the ice chest , it doubles as a cushion for beverages so they don't go flying all over the place and getting shock up and holes punched in the cans from ice

I live in Lacombe , which is in between Slidell and Mandeville, north shore of Lake Ponchartrain, next Parish up from New Orleans

Oh man. I bet that does come in handy!

I bet y'all ride alot down there. Just looked it up and I could see there being some swampy muddy areas.

I usually don't venture that far into Louisiana. Almost went to Belle Chasse south of New Orleans last year but that job got canceled.

We mainly work on the Texas coast

Yeap , it is a lot of swamp land around here , we are getting a much needed rain yesterday and today and the stuff that is hitting Texas today will be here tomorrow , temp dropping and they say we might get a few flakes of snow if the timing is right ------- very familiar with Belle Chase , my people were originally from Buras which is a little farther down towards the end of the road , Venice , La ----- I worked in the oil field myself at one time , worked on cranes , quit in 1991

I don't have a pic yet , but this is funny , my neighbor is a gimmick buyer , he will buy anything that is cheaper then the cheapest one out there , so he comes over with his new sound system for his Yammy 400 , and wants some help to install it , he got it off Amazon for like $43 and paid an extra $10 for quick ship , so it is a $53 system , Honda in Picayune has a $99 tube that jams and he heard it one day when we were there and the guy demo-ed it for us , so his new radio is 7 watts , not 70 or 700 , 7 watts ( granted that is per channel so 14 watts total out put , you can't hear it with the engine idling , looks like it would go on a kid's bicycle , the speakers are about the diameter of a spray paint can , maybe smaller , and 1/2 the thickness of that same cap , they clamp to the handle bars , the amp /controller is about twice the thickness of a box of matches , the small box , not a kitchen match box , needless to say it came from Sheng Shang , I hate to dis' on him , but can't wait to see the faces of the posse this weekend when he cranks it up , LOL
