i will be riding along and it will pull to the right all of the sudden but it doesnt continue to pull it just jerks real hard and quits then do it again almost like a warpped rotor on a car would do. i have inspected the breaks very good and i have no problems with them at all. it also makes a clicking noise sometimes when it is in 4x4 and i turn sharp. does anyone know what my problem could be? trx500 4x4

This is pure speculation but I suppose the jerking could also be from a bad CV joint. If one of the bearings in there is misalligned or has a flat spot then it might hang up the wheel from time to time. Like I said, pure speculation. If you can verify the clicking is from the right side, then fix the joint or replace the shaft and then see if the jerking stops.

I would have to agree with Pain and Fastas. The clicking is, more than likely, a bad CV joint.

The axle could even be broke right in the CV joint and trying to lock up causing it to pull.

Mine does the same thing, I did some research and found that a recall is in afect for some models. if you get a tare in your boot it can cause this. Unfortiantly mine is not covered. I just ordered the outer cv joint I will post if it solves the problem

Sounds exactly like what mine did a few years back. A bearing actually came apart and at times would get caught between the splines and another bearing when it did it jerked to the left really hard.

i have to agree with everyone here..your cv joint is bad..if you don't fix it soon..its really going to make matters worse on your bearings..and front diff.
