Was at the parts house today and found something nice. Trickle charge automatic battery tender. Mount the little booger somewhere out of the way, run your wires to the battery, cut the wire off kinda short but long enough so you can get to them easily. Then just plug it up when you're not using your bike. The charger was like 30 bucks. So my next accessory.

is this one an automatic?? or does it stay on all the time that it is hooked up?

Mine will fill the battery and then keep it full. I leave mine on all the time and I have never seen any reason for me to believe it is causing damage
