I'm looking for a front and rear set of shocks for my 2001 Rancher 350. The stock ones ride quite hard. I would prefer something with adjustability for when I am doubling with someone on the machine. What would you recommend?

thank you for your time.

there are some adjustable shocks out there, but to be honest there NOT going to do much , this is a solid axle atv, and IF you have MUD tires on it?
your better off removing them, and going to a softer thinner ply tire to get a better ride than adding what shocks are out there IMO?
Honda's are Utility ATV's in there 4x4 models, and the one's of the past were made to ride like dump trucks LOL
better money is spent on saving up for a newer ride
Sorry NOT what you want to hear, but nature of the beast here?
playing with air pressure can help some on tires?
But again, if you have aggressive Mud tires, most can run almost flat and still be stiff tires by there design?
?

I can't say if they'll fit but 420 rancher shocks are super soft IMO, I use a rancher daily at work and even set to hard the rear is still to soft for a 'working' ATV.
Fitting a set of these to my 300 is something I may look at in the near future.

I have two bronoc's on the front of my 400, got off ebay cheap, as I broke a front one,
so HAD to replace.
But to be honest I didn't gain any better ride, Yes adjustable, but even on the softest setting, it doesn't ride any smoother, just get a LOT more body roll and squishy handling! On the highest setting, it works nice to hold up my plow, but rides stiffer than OEM 's did? and OEM"S held plow the same?

512's are getting hard to find, there seeming to phase them out of there run's?
so, might be harder to find them , but they are better than the bronco's, but costs more

Mrbb were your broncos bodies threaded and adjustable like that or did they have the 5 presets like OEM and Progressive?

they have the 5 pre set adjustments they came with a spanner tool to adjust them, I turn them all the way up, when plowing and in the middle when riding, all the way soft they are too soft, atv wanders like?

so middle is about the same as OEM ride

they also came with nylon shock covers too , which I don;t use ?
there basically copies of the 512,s , but I gather have some cheaper components and shock valving!

here is a picture of one of them next to an OEM shock(spring is broken on the OEM one)
and they ALSO were MUCH longer than OEM< like an inch in a half or so!
which they were supposed to be a direct OEM replacement , but WAY longer, I think they have more of a universsal fit deal with a few models and HOPE your OK with them LOL

I HAD a 1.5 inch lift on the front end, when I removed as it was too much lift with these shocks and the lift together!

Wierd, I bought a bronco rear shock for a 300, but it was threaded like a fancy aftermarket shock, not the 5 way adjustable. No fancy cover either, but I did get a couple stickers.
who knows??
and
I din;t get any stickers ??
so we both got different things with our shocks I guess??

512's are a better shock I am sure, I had a another 400 that had them on and it helped a little, not so much in riding softer, but carried a load better with better performance like ride to things
