Just bought my first ATV, a 2002 Honda Foreman Rubicon. It was just rebuilt and I bought it from a consignment dealer. I drove it 9 miles through town hopeing not to see the law as the ATV is not street legal. Half way home the thing started to smoke. The smoke was minor at first and finaly got to the point where I stopped. There was oil dripping from under the seat onto the exhaust causing the smoke. The oil stick was ok and the motor ran great, so I kept heading home. By the time I arrived there was enough oil to mess up my favorite old tennis shoe (left one)- still showing oil on the last bit of the flat part. After the thing cooled I fould the problem, no cover on the exhaust valve. I found it at the bottom of the motor shield. So, I think I got lucky. I need the two bolts, and I hope that neither of the origional fell into the case. I assume I'd hear a clank or two if they did. So where do I get the bolts, and does anyone think I should worry about the origional bolts falling into the motor?
