Welcome to the forums. I believe Fastas has his 300 snorkeled. Submarine may have his snorkeled, also, but I can't remember for sure.New to this forum and wondered if anybody has had any experiance snorkling a 89 300 fourtrax i looked the other day and the way it runs up the frame made me question how to run it. any advice would be appreciated
Thanks Randy
ok thank youok here are some pics of mine,
thanks will definatly try that tomorow once i round up some flex hose and absbasicly get a short piece of pipe glue to a female adapter thread a male to barb into the female adapter, then work barb into a flex hose and hose clamp it off run flex line up frame along engine and behind your gas shutoff valve go under your shocks but up next to your frame once there put on barb again thread into a female adapter glue to a 90 degree street elbow and glue other end to a 24inch long piece of pipe then glue a long sweep 90 degree elbow on top of 24inch piece of pipe. all of this of course being 1 1/2 inch the flex hose should be roughly 4ft i bought 5 and had quite a bit left over, zip tie hose to frame to pull it away form engine as much as possible. i sprayed mine all black, but have thought of changing it to orange. i had to assemble mine off the 300 and work it in from front to back. You know as much as i know bout snorkleing i should sell the kits get all the pieces together box em up and sell em.
thanks for the offer but ill just stop at the hardware store on my way home tomorow afternoon but thanks againi got my flex hose at lowes but of course i work there lol, i could see how much it will all cost and possibly get it to ya some how.
Also if you plan on getting int deep water you will need to snorkel your vent lines and seal your air box or you will eventually wind up with water in your engine or diffs.np its easy heer is a mat list 1 5ft joint of pipe, 2 female adapters, 2 1.5 inch male threads to 1.5 inch barb, 4 ft 1.5 inch spa vaccum hose is what i used from lowes. 2 hose clamps, glue, primer, 1 long sweep 90 degree elbows,1 90 degree street elbow, bag of zip ties,1 small tube of caulk, 1.5 in hole saw if you dont have 1 already.
