I snorkeled my 300 trx 4x4 with 2 inch pvc, and uni air filter.When its under a load it just rocks, does not get rpms up.When i take my air box lid off it runs great.Anyone know how to get it to run with the air box lid on like it does off? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You have too much fuel entering the system, you need smaller jets.

Then i will get smaller jets.I was hoping there was a way to get more air in the carb to fix the air fuel mixture.No big deal.When i get smaller jets will it be slower? Thanks for the help.

a properly jetted carb will be faster than a poor jetted carb.

you would have to make the snorkel bigger to get more air in.
