I was changing the fluids on my 1999 Foreman es and I noticed a chrome cap and I don’t know what it’s for. It’s opened via hex key. Located on the right side of the engine near the brake pedal. I’m guessing it’s a access port for some kind of fluid? See photo.

That is the access plug for the "T" (Piston top-dead-center indicator) mark on the flywheel. Also marked on the flywheel are the ignition timing marks. Those marks are needed when a person is replacing, repairing or checking the camshaft, cam chain, & chain tensioner components and are also handy for other routine maintenance tasks. You can get a copy of the service manual for your bike from the Manuals thread. You'll need one sooner or later...
