I just recently bought a pretty much mint 98 300 4x4. Well I have the chance to buy another 98 300 4x4 that needs brakes, rear bearings and a new cv shaft. It has 26" mudlites on it right now. I have not seen the quad yet but have been told that it runs great other then the problems stated. He was open to offers so I made a offer of $600 for it. What do you guys think? I'm going to try and look at it tomorrow.

I paid the same for my 88 and it needed the same stuff. Personally, if it runs and shifts I'd jump all over that deal.

It's all back to normal minus the brakes, still working on those. Been a busy couple of weeks 'round here lately. We'll have to get a trip together soon.

sounds like a fair deal..buttttt..until you see it in person..and give it a good look over..you may find more thats wrong with it..you won't know this until you see it in person..the cv's are not cheap by any means !!..the rest of it isn't so bad at all. if that's all thats wrong with it..jump all over it...i paid about that same amount for my '96 trx300fw....if you include the gas to drive there and back..and my time..yeah..i'd say thats a great price. your just lucky though..my engine was completely torn apart..lol.
