I have a 4x4 fourtrax and was wondering if you could replace the shocks with any other honda atv shocks (front or rear) The ones on it now are the originals and are relly soft. i plan on puttining a kimpex snow blower on it this winter so stiffer is better. I think i can get a pair of 400ex fronts for cheap would these be compatible?

Those shocks would probably be soft too, due to the difference in weight of the machines. I think best bet would be to find shocks off of another 4x4/utility style machine. Just remove one of your shocks, front and back, and measure from eye to eye. Find another shock the same length

I agree with Red. Try to find shocks off a bigger ATV and measure them to see if they would fit.
