Hey y'all. I'm new on here and have a question. I have a 2003 Honda Foreman Rubicon with automatic transmission and has been sitting unused for a couple of years, and I've decided to fix her up. I drained and cleaned out the gas tank and fuel line, put on a new carburetor and battery. It starts and runs fine, but when I put it in reverse, I have to turn it off to get it to shift back into neutral or drive.

I would download the manual from this site and start the process of diagnostic testing connections and suspect you will find the problem pretty quick. Also, you may just ride it a bit and see if it goes away, old oil/grease in the electrical unit gets hard and with some heat may start working
