Here's the senario, Seems to start out fine, shows speed and shifts fines, run it down the road at high speeds and speedometer shows 99 mph, it will not shift down after reaching 5th gear , you have to shut the key off every time and then use the e.s. to shift back to neutral to start engine again. It will shift fine at low speeds now going thru the woods, etc but the speedometer will not show 0. After I shut off the machine (lunch break) for about an hour and restart speed will once again show correct mph, only until it warms up and I go over that magic speed of about 25 mph down a road or something for a long stretch. I have been told speed sensor, crankshaft sensor, but I dont have $100 for each part to try and my thoughts are an electronic component (zenor diode) faulting out.
Does anyone have a surefire fix for this, I see people out there posting on this constantly with almost the same complaint.
your help will be greatly appreciated
