so I went trail riding this morning and after a while my rancher suddenly had no power and seemed to want to stall. I shut it off and played with the throttle then my fan kicked on and it ran fine. I really thought I was stranded since I went alone. Any ideas what happened?

Check the wiring going to your fan. I know some quads will go into limp mode if they get too hot. The tech smart guys will be online in a while.

Well to add to it when i got it home after hosing it down, I started it up and it was running poor. It always idles perfect and it sounded like it was going to die. After giving it some gas I got it to normal. It just had the carb tuned and cleaned.
