Yes you need to rejet, don't run your quad until you do. You just increased your airflow by about 300%, you need to add a lot more fuel to the ratio or you WILL burn your engine up.

Markus. Something you may find out is your Dealership MAY NOT do this re-jet for you?

Not being absolutely sure about ATV's and a Dealership being able to install a jet kit for anything other than racing? I know on Motorcycles Federal Law Prohibits a Dealer or Shop from changing the Factory settings (The CARB Standards). If any Shop or Dealership was to change these settings? They are subject to a hefty fine.

Not only is it against Federal Law for any Carburetor, they can't touch the Air-box, or any O2 Sensors.

Like I said, I'm not sure about them doing any work on what is termed a RACE ATV? I'm sure if you have any warranty on your ATV? Once anything has been done to alter the muffler, carburetor, air-box or emissions. You have no more warranty.

If there is someone out there who knows and understands these Laws concerning these ATV's (which I'm sure there is)? Please set me straight if I am telling this person wrong? Like I said I don't know if these CARB Standards apply to ATV's or not?

BUT I JUST NOTICED YOU ARE IN NORWAY? IF THIS IS THE CASE? I DON'T THINK US FEDERAL LAW WILL APPLY TO YOU OR YOUR MACHINE. (I wasn't aware there was SAND in Norway?) :^)

well, is see a lot of guys modify their rubicons, as exhaust, muffler and air-boxes, i'm not sure, but i remember i saw a guy in here or somewhere else that had made changes on his caburator, mine is a 2009 model and I want more power out of it, and thought that this mod would fit?

I have had a shop here in Denver jet my quad before. What you are talking about is for DOT approved vehicles. Quads do not have an O2 sensor so we have to rejet.

Agree^^^ I don't think DOT laws apply to ATV or any off road vehicle.
