I have a 2005 Rubicon 500, about every other time I go to crank it, it acts like there is a high draw and I have to press again for it to turn over. Battery is brand new and yes I've topped it off with a smart charger. Sometimes it seems like it doesn't have enough juice so I have to pull start it. But I can shut it off and start it back up immediately with the electric start. I have replaced the relay and the starter looks new, don't think its OEM but I am speculating its just a bad spot in the starter if that can be a thing. Previous owner had a snorkel on it so i could be water damage internally to the starter. I'm just spit-balling here. Any ideas?

My 2007 rubicon 500 will turn over but will not start. When I put the choke to it the motor does not wind up faster or slow down. I checked the plug and am getting fire to the plug. So I let it set over night and this morning I came out and it started up like nothing had happened. I did notice when I tire the key on that the DS1,DS2,ESP were all showing up on the display, but this morning when I checked it only the DS1 was showing. My son rode it half the day and I’m he started having problems with it and it eventually wouldn’t start up.
