I am gettin error code 42 flashing, new battery, oil change, valves adjusted. 100 miles and i have checked every connection and plug and greased it all with dieelectric grease. I have run out of ideas. I dont have a service manual so im a little limited to options. And oh yes im in Iceland and the Honda dealer refuses to help since i didnt buy the ATV from them and its a non European model. All help greatly appreciated from the great white north!

Without looking I don’t know what that error code is however, here is a link to the service manual sub section on this forum, here you should find a manual with the information you require.
Be sure to post back with questions and answers to your own questions to help future members with issues :)

Edit: Alternatively, try contacting Honda in Belgium, they’re the main supplier of spares for Europe and the UK, they’re also very helpful if you need answers ;-)

Edit again!! It helps if I send the link!!

Here’s an old thread discussing same problem; never did hear of a resolution; the thread kinda death-spiraled. Also involved a new-condition low-km quad. I hope you are able to fix yours.

Do you think the fuel system might have had old fuel? If the 2016 diagnosis was O2 sensor do you think it can be removed and cleaned?

Will your shop order you a service manual?

There is a way to bypass the sensor if you wanted to test the circuit. The Connector has 4 wires on it, one set of wires has to be shorted across each other, i forget the sensor value, but the repair manual would tell you the resistance, & you could jump those 2 wires with a resistor having similar resistance.
